REAL DELIVERY. REAL CONNECTION.
Sound of Change has reached more than 14,000 young people in under two years. Our sessions combine honest lived experience, memorable messages and creative participation, helping young people engage with subjects that can otherwise feel distant or difficult.
Founder-led. Team-delivered. Partnership-powered.
THE CHALLENGE
Schools and communities are carrying growing pressures around confidence, belonging, mental wellbeing, aspiration and decision-making. Information alone rarely changes behaviour.
Sound of Change creates moments of genuine connection. We help young people recognise their worth, understand their choices and take ownership of what happens next.
FOUR WAYS TO CREATE CHANGE
Choose an immediate intervention, a deeper programme or a partnership that reaches young people at scale.

FLAGSHIP EXPERIENCE
Young people discover their voice, tell their story and collaborate to create and record an original anthem.
CORE FIVE-SESSION PROGRAMME
A structured journey that helps young people understand thought patterns and build self-awareness, self-worth, courage and positive direction.
CREATE CHANGE AT SCALE
Co-designed delivery for trusts, foundations, councils and sponsors seeking measurable impact across multiple settings.
THE FLAGSHIP CREATIVE EXPERIENCE
The Anthem Project combines personal development, storytelling, songwriting and recording. Young people explore identity, resilience and positive choices before turning their ideas into an original song they can call their own.
SIGNATURE FIVE-SESSION PROGRAMME
Battle for the Mind moves beyond a one-off message. Across five connected sessions, young people learn to recognise unhealthy thought patterns, understand themselves, build genuine self-worth, practise courage and choose the influences that shape their direction.

STRONGLY AGREE ACROSS ALL FOUR MEASURES
“Absolutely amazing and a great source of inspiration. 10/10.”
“Profound session delivered with passion. ‘Choose the ladders, avoid the snakes’ is a statement that stayed with me. I hope the stories told today impact others as they have me.”
“Mark’s Positive Choices session was outstanding. It was poignant, hard-hitting and left a lasting impact on all. This is exactly what 12 and 13-year-olds need to realise that choices have consequences.”
“Mark came into Moor End Academy to deliver a session during a personal development day, and the pupils were enthralled throughout. His authenticity and honesty gave the strong and pertinent messages a level of realism that our pupils really bought into. Mark delivered incredibly traumatic experiences in an uplifting way, with emotional intelligence and compassion, allowing everyone to leave with optimism. The musical accompaniment was fantastic. We look forward to working with Mark again.”
“The talk was incredibly insightful. It showed a clear understanding of the complexities within life, both to myself and the students. Mark delivered the session with clarity, creating a safe space.”
“Powerful and meaningful message which hit home about relevant topics in an engaging manner.”
“Mark and his team at Sound of Change delivered a workshop that proved to be an outstanding success and incredibly beneficial to our Year 9s. Mark was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging. The positive impact has been evident: pupils are more motivated and better prepared to tackle the challenges they encounter. We are already looking at inviting Sound of Change back to deliver to the whole school.”
“Mark has been an excellent addition to the Positive Choices team. He has delivered his personal experiences with humility and openness to both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Mark has been incredible to work with: professional, dedicated and positive.”
“The Positive Choices workshop with Mark Stevens was incredibly eye-opening and inspiring. The students were thoroughly engaged by his powerful personal story. Even after the session, I witnessed students discussing its message and reflecting on their own personal choices in life.”
“Powerful messages delivered in a way that made the students listen.”
“Great use of multimedia to deliver a hard-hitting workshop on the effects of substance misuse. The discussions around mental health and the long-term impact of drugs are honest and relevant.”
“Relatable, inspiring and grabbed our students’ attention with a very powerful cautionary yet uplifting story. A universal message of hope, humility and redemption.”
“The most interesting and heartfelt session. I hope the students got a lot from it, as it shows just how a life can be turned around.”
“Your mind is like a garden. When it comes to developing something, it starts in your mind. You are the boss.”
“Your sessions offer a rare combination of honesty, creativity and emotional intelligence. You challenge young people to think differently, and you do it in a way that feels both safe and empowering. That’s something we deeply value, and it’s been a pleasure having you involved.”
